What an exciting milestone for cPacket! Last month, we celebrated the opening of our new engineering center in downtown Portland.
The energy, vision, and collaboration that filled our new space were truly inspiring. Our expansion not only reflects our confidence in Portland’s vibrant tech community, but also reinforces cPacket’s commitment to driving innovation in performance-first network observability — especially critical as AI workloads and high-speed networks evolve rapidly.
A huge thanks to Warren (Skip) Newberry Jr., Elaine Hsieh, Yvonne S., and Taylor Tilley for joining our celebration. We look forward to partnering with the Portland Metro Chamber, Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) and Prosper Portland to make Portland a cornerstone of technical excellence.

We had a great time at the STAC Summit in New York City, where our Senior Director of AI Ops, Norm Bright, presented “Silent Stalls, Big Impacts: Exposing Hidden Bottlenecks in AI Data Centers.” Thanks to everyone who joined us to explore how packet-level visibility is key to optimizing performance in high-stakes financial environments.
5/21/25 – STAC Summit Chicago
Erik Rudin, cPacket’s Field CTO, took the stage at STAC Summit Chicago to present “Silent Stalls, Big Impacts: Exposing Hidden Bottlenecks in AI Data Centers.” He shared how packet-level visibility and high-resolution telemetry are key to uncovering the subtle performance issues—like microbursts and sync delays—that can quietly stall AI infrastructure.
