cPacket Networks Appoints New Worldwide Sales Lead to Tackle Increasing Global Need for the Performance Monitoring of Critical Networks

Industry veteran Bruce Clark to head up cPacket’s global footprint expansion efforts in NAM, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC as Vice President of Worldwide Sales

SAN JOSE, CA—March 28, 2017—cPacket Networks, a leading provider of next-generation network performance monitoring (NPM) and analytics solutions, today announced the hiring of Bruce Clark as the company’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Clark brings more than two decades of experience and insights to cPacket, having developed and driven successful sales initiatives, channels programs, and partnerships for a range of accomplished networking, app performance, security, SaaS, and infrastructure organizations.

Prior to cPacket, Clark built his reputation as an experienced sales leader in the network performance market, most notably with Network Instruments where he developed the company’s global sales and channel programs, as well as managed multiple business units. Clark also helped lead JDSU through its merger with Network Instruments, which was completed in June of 2015.

As Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Clark will lead all cPacket’s sales efforts, where he will focus on building out the next-generation NPM and analytics solutions provider’s footprint in North America, Europe, Latin American, and Asia-Pacific. In addition, Clark will drive cPacket’s newly launched cChannel Partner Program.

“We’re incredibly impressed by Bruce, not just because of his experience and insights, but his level of enthusiasm and ability to motivate others while focusing on driving increased sales,” said Brendan O’Flaherty, CEO at cPacket Networks. “Bruce brings a proven track record of designing and implementing sales and business processes that span the entire product lifecycle, along with an uncanny ability to attract and retain top talent and partners for long term success. Needless to say, we’re very excited about having Bruce on board and the impact he’s going to have on our business.”

Clark’s hiring comes on the heels of three recent cPacket product milestones. In February, the company unveiled its next-generation security analytics platform to address the runaway growth of cybersecurity threats. This announcement was followed up with the launch of cPacket’s NPM platform designed to handle increasing traffic on high-speed networks, specifically for the 40G and 100G markets. In addition, the company also recently rolled out its Cx4100 solution, the industry’s first and only solution that provides wire-speed network monitoring at 100Gbps.
